Looking for a family with a name that sounds similar to this who lived in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., possibly on Christopher Ave., probably in the early part of the 20th century. I am not a relative. But this family corresponded with a relative in Aleksandriya, near Rovno, Russia (Poland between WWI and WWII), and the correspondence contained information about my grandfather's sister, who also lived there. My grandfather, who was illiterate, would get updates on her through this family's letters. I am hoping the letters still exist and can be translated.
