Sarah:
Esther and Elizbeth may have been related to James Wright. He was a friend of Willis Alston(husband of Elizabeth) who named a son James Wright Alston. Willis sold him land in 1782 in a deed witnessed by Henry Dawson. We are unable to make headway on James who may have been born in Virginia. James was born between 1750 and 1760 and married Elizabeth Roper daughter of John Roper. He may have had other wives. One of his sons was named Willis. Later decendents were named Willis Austin perhaps a derivation. Its also possible that the name wasn't Wright but Reitz or something like that. We have participated in the Wright DNA group but as yet no serious matches. Please let me know if you make any progress. Stan Wright
