Ralls county MO was formed from Pike county in 1820. Monroe was formed from Ralls in 1831. This is purely speculation, but there were only 2 Wrights listed in the 1830 Ralls Co., MO census - one was a John Wright who was 30-40 with 4 young children - 3 girls under 5 and one boy 5-10 - but no wife listed. Perhaps this is the same John shown in 1840 in Monroe Co., MO with a younger wife and 2 additional young children, possibly indicating he remarried.
