The most common problem people have with my email is they add the "i". Leave the "i" out as in "wmewrght". Next is to use a DASH between hal and pc as in "hal-pc"
We are traveling and I don't have access to my notebooks and library. But I suspect that a man who died in 1847 would not be the father of a man who was born 1763 or so.
My best guess from reading the microfilms in Salt Lake City is that the John Wright of Allegany Co, NY, may have come from Washington or Rensselaer Co, NY. But the information I have from the descendants of John of Allegany doesn't tie with the Wrights of Washington/Rensselaer. I have asked for documentation of their information and have not received it. I think there is some generational confusion between John's children and grandchildren.
Without my notes, I don't remember whether the potential link I found was with Wrights in Washington or in Rensselaer. It is moot anyway until I can find documentation for the information on John's children.
