Hi John,
Yes, this Samuel Wright (1711-1797) was the son of James Wright and Judith Bushnell.
The special file from the CT State Library that I referred to consists of 12 pages, 6 pages from the Bible and 6 pages of consolidated family births/deaths/marriages. A note on the first page says "Photostated at the Connectcicut State Library from the original in the possession of Mrs. Clara Wright Keyes (Mrs. Frank Keyes), 63 Newton Street, Meriden, Connecticut, who loaned it to the State Library for this purpose. February 2, 1954 (or 1964... can't make out the number). Signed Geo S. Godard, State Librarian."
Another note in the file explains that the Bible was Elihu Wright's (1770-1823) given to Samuel Wright (his eldest son, 1794-1836). Most of the entries, I believe, were by Samuel Wright, the son, and then by later descendents registering deaths...latest entry date is 1903.

The 6th page contains the same as page 5 with a few additional deaths.
The additional six pages are in a compiled format with pretty much the same data, but a few extra tidbits.
One is the entry for Anna, wife of Samuel Wright:"Anna ^ was born August 24 O.S. 1723 died Oct 11, 1806 ae 83. Just after and above her name, where I inserted the carrot (^) was the parentheses ( ) with the name inserted "Pratt", or "Platt", or "Platts", but with several lines thru it, like it was added later, and then scratched out.
If you'd like a copy of these pages, please e-mail me and I'll scan the pages and send as an e-mail attachment, or mail if you'd like.
