Hi Tony
I have very little on Rayford in GA. I know that Joseph Wreyford/Rayford had two daughters born somewhere in GA according to 1850 census records of the family in AR. The spelling in the census was Rayford. The spelling on his tombstone is Wreyford. I have heard that Joseph came to America as a stow-a-way as a young boy which could put him in GA around 1821. They seem to think that he came to Savannah. His first daughter was born around 1841 in GA. If you find a tie to the Dean's please let me know. I will also do some checking.
