Died 1941. I found him (6 years old) in the 1960 Census living with a Joseph Thornbury in Guiford county. I also found a court order binding James to Joseph Thorbury, who agreed to teach him how to read, write, and cipher and grant him $75 and his Freedom whenerver he reaches 21 years of age. Does anyone know James' father?? James death certificate only lists his Mother, Becky Weaver. Notify Administrator about this message?
