Baker Wrather, or any variation of the name can usually be found in Rutherford Co. TN records. I'd contact their library or archives. The family name starts losing the "W" a lot after the 1860's in that area, esp. with the ones who moved to Texas and Cali. I don't know that much about those branches of the family, but I know some folks who might. I would love to see ms. Kidd's database.
