My parents Kay and Robert Wragg brought the family over to Connecticut in 1967. I was born there in 1968, and we moved to Los Angeles three years later. I now live in Los Gatos, near San Jose, CA.
I have a brother Christopher(1966) and a sister Sharon(1970). My father died of cancer in 1996, and needless to say I miss him very much. He was raised in Tottenham outside of London. His father was Robert Wragg who also died two years before my father. We don't know much about his family, but I do know he had several brothers who I never met. I have a locked briefcase at home that contains family pictures. My father brought it home from England when he cleaned out his parents home. I don't have the key, and haven't had the will to break the lock yet. But it's comforting to have the case. I remember he told me he met family members at the funeral he had never met before. I don't know their names, but my father was a meticulous engineer and I bet dollars to donuts their names are in that case.
I have to say, I've always felt like the last of the Mohegan's (since health problems will likely prevent my brother from passing on the family name). It's nice to see you all here.
I wish you all good health and happiness.
