I am looking for information on the indian baby that Oliver Wozencraft found near Shasta, California in 1852 and sent to his wife as a "little present". An article from The Desert Magazine, 1939, tells of this indian baby and includes a picture inwhich the caption reads "Mrs. Wozencraft and the indian woman, Shasta, that Dr. Wozencraft found as a baby."
