Does anyone know of a MARY WOTHERSPOON who went to South Africa to marry ROBERT ALEXANDER MATHIESON, who emigrated from Scotland around 1900 to go to South Africa to fight in the boer war? He married twice, to Emily Bagley in 1903 in South Africa & Mary Wotherspoon of Scotland in c1910 in Cape Town. Mary & Robert Alexander had a son Robert & daughters Helen, Stella & Beatrice. She died around 1950 in Cape Town, South Africa. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone know of a family member who emigrated to South Africa around 1908?
Her parents were JAMES RUSSELL WOTHERSPOON & ELLEN MUNRO & siblings were HELEN, ROBERT, ELIZABETH (Bessie), Agnes (NANCY), JAMES & DONALD. I don't have much info on them.
