Hi Gordon,

It's so nice to hear from you and to find someone else who remembers David and Christina. For many years I've been trying to piece together my Bissett line (my father's side). His family came to the United States in 1929 when he was 3 and my grandfather died when I was a young child so much information has been lost. I have been in contact with a recently found cousin in Australia who remembers Christina as well. She was my great grandmother's sister. I'm not sure if your Mother would remember her as well? My great grandmother was Margaret Crichton Bissett she had a son David Bissett and daughter Margaret Ann (Maggie Ann aka Meg). I am also in touch with another Wotherspoon descendant, her father is another David Wotherspoon still living in Scotland. They are also from this same line of James Wotherspoon b. 1842 through his son Andrew Summers Wotherspoon b. 1864. In regards to David and Christina, I know of four children they had; 3 died in childhood but the 4th, David, I could not find a death for. Does your mother remember anything of their children? I know I've asked a lot of questions but Christina has been the most difficult of the 9 Bissett children to piece together.

Thank you for contacting me, looking forward to hearing from you.
