Hi Janet,

Yes I am a bit confused as to who is who around the William Wotherspoon and Janet Kerr or Kier issues. I have searched on the "scotlandspeople" database and can only find one record of a william wotherspoon marrying a janet kerr and this is in 1842. I can find no record for a william wotherspoon marrying a janet keir any time between 1800 and 1854 in these records.
