My grandfather, William Wortmann, was born August 13, 1901.
Records say in was in Pennsylvania. I did manage to find his social security number and am waiting for the copy of his application.
He, along with his sister Sophia, were in an orphange in 1910. (I am waiting for the orphanage to get back to me.) They also list another sister, Alice. (Never heard of her)
Does anyone have any information that might help me?
