Wilson.... From the sound of your post...You probably are already familiar with any thing I might add.It was the name John H Worthy of Mississippi that caught my attention My GGranddad was John H Worthy....not the same as yours, however. Just curious to know if UR familiar with how and when, the Worthys got to Mississippi...If not contact me. I have a copy of the Passport the Patriarch, John G Worthy, of this particular clan of Worthys,obtained when He, and his brood, crossed the river into Indian Territory just below where I now live, January 10, 1807. Also have a copy of Bill of Sale Signed by (ie:) President James Monroe where William Worthy purchased 78 acres of Government land in district of Jackson Court House State of Mississippi, 1823 as You may know this John G came back to Georgia ca 1840s.
