In Reply to: Robert 'the Quaker' WORTHINGTON, doubtful claims by Paul Palmer of 2000

It is disappointing to report that the absence of any helpful response to this posting from April 2009 has been total. I have received a thoughtful query or two and one annoying peremptory demand for me to produce all the negative documentation in my possession.
Can anyone actually document that Robert 'the Quaker' Worthington (c 1663-1735) was the child of John (1629-1718)and Mary (Owen?) Worthington (d. 1723) of Wilmslow Parish, Cheshire? If so, please do.
Can anyone actually document that Robert's supposed first wife, Alice Taylor, was the daughter of Robert (1633-1695 and Mary Hayes(d. 1728) Taylor? If you can, please do.
Either of those two pieces of documentaion would be very helpful.
Paul C. Palmer, Comal County TX
