Robert Worthington b ~1812 / Hannah M ___ Family

Hello,
I have only been able to trace my Worthingtons to a Robert Worthington, who was born around 1812 in England. A William Worthington, whom I think to be his brother, was born around 1808 in England. I have got my infromation from census records so far and hope to learn more or even perhaps trace the family back further. I am not sure that everyone listed as Robert's children are his children. They were living with him at various times, though.

Robert Worthington / Hannah M ___
children:
1. William Worthington b ~1845 or ~1848 Michigan
2. Phyla Worthington b ~1847 Michigan
3. John Worthington b ~1850 Michigan
4. Eliza J Worthington b ~1855 Michigan
5. James H Worthington b ~1857 Michigan
6. Robert Eugene Worthington b ~1895 Michigan
7. George Worthington b ~1861 Michigan

I think that I am descended from James H Worthington. He was listed on the 1880 census as divorced; and he and his son, William, were living with his father, Robert. I found William in the 1900 census living with his mother, Lucinda J, and her new husband Oren Aumend. My family says that William's middle name is most likely James.

William James Worthington b Mar 1877 / Martha Westendorf b Nov 1882
children:
1. Vera Worthington
2. Raymond Worthington
3. Eugene Worthington
4. Dorothy Worthington
5. Powell Worthington
6. Helen Worthington

I only have detailled information on one of those children. Various family situations, travelling, and moving can all make it difficult to follow the lines. The names Ruth & Eli Pratt also figure into the tree somewhere.

In general, my Worthingtons lived in the area of Detroit, Michigan during the 19th century; and some moved to the Tri-City area of Michigan in the 20th century. The Tri-Cities are in Bay, Saginaw, and Midland Counties (Michigan). They were, for the most part, farmers.

I will appreciate any further information that anyone could offer. Thank you so much.
