John Quincy Adams Worth, b.1824 d.1867 (died same year as his father, Joseph Worth), is one of my wife's ancestors (and subsequently one of my children's ancestors).

I do not have much about John Q.A.'s other siblings, however you can find a fair amount of information about them at: http://history.vineyard.net/worthw1.htm, http://history.vineyard.net/worthw2.htm, and http://history.vineyard.net/worthw3.htm.

I have a copy of a letter from George F. Worth, U.S. Marshall Office, San Francisco, Calif., that "Joseph Worth died June 5, 1867, and Charlotte, his wife, Jan. 8, 1868, both in Wrightstown, Wis." They might have moved around like you thought, however eventually settled in Wisconsin? FYI: George F. Worth is descended from Frederick/William/Joseph/John/William/John (the latter being the original from England).

Regarding John Quincy Adams Worth, he married Elizabeth Watson. John was "killed by Indans in S.D. gold rush." Children of John & Elizabeth were Lionel Andrew Worth b.1859 d.1918, George Worth, and Emma Worth. The family moved around and Lionel was born in either Chicago or South Dakota. My wife descended from Lionel Andrew Worth and his daughter Jesse Amanda Worth who married into the "Davis" family.

I hope that some of this helps.

Nathan White
