Thanks for your message.I wish I knew if there was a connection but the gap is just too large to bridge as yet.
My Worswick relations lived there until the late 1800's early 1900's.
Perhaps when you find out more about gt grandad William and his parents the picture might become clearer.So far though I have not come across a "William" in my direct line, but who knows.
Have you found your gt grandad on the 1891/1901 census in the area? If so what was the address?
The baptisms and burials I have for St Thomas A-I-M are early ones circa 1830's to around the 1850's from memory.
