Hi again Theresa,
Further to my first message I have more information regarding Elisha's family.- In the census 1871 Elisha was living with his father Ashton who was born in 1825 in Ashton Upon Mersey and mother Mary.He had 2 brothers Thomas 1856 and Joseph 1870, 4 sisters Alice 1850, Mary A 1853, Amelia 1850, Elizabeth 1860. Also living with them was Annie E 1869 grandaughter.
In the 1881 census Ashton was still head of the family, Thomas was no longer there Elisha was, and 2 additional grandsons, John 1876 and James 1877 also a further granddaughter Clara 1880. All living at 15 Oak Street, Farnworth.
