Fred Worner, Phila. PA 1880
Posted by: John Warner Date: November 24, 2000 at 11:44:26

My ggf was Frederick J Worner (umlaut over the "o") My gf's siblings were divided over the issue, some adopting Woerner, some Warner, and at least one retaining the Worner spelling. In researching my own surname, I run-into the Anglo-Saxon connection and get no where! I haven't traced my ggf beyond 1880. He settled in Philadelphia, PA and married Mary, Ana, or Marie Weber (depending upon where you look) I'd like to correspond with researchers with common interests. Best Regards, John
