Wormuths - NY

I repost from time to time because stuff gets buried on these forums.

I'm researching ancestors with this surname and variations like Warmuth Wormouth, etc., in NYS.

My family line beginning with my grandmother, is as follows:

Margaret Eleanor Wormuth, b. 1887, Sullivan Co., NY, m. Simeon Arnold Beismer, Sr, 1905, d. 1973, Broome Co., NY, lived most of her adult life in Delaware Co., NY, dau of:

Thomas James (James) Wormuth and Fanny B. Hulse, James b. 1846, Sull Co., NY, d. 1928, Del Co., NY, son of:

Joseph Wormuth and Eleanor Debeck, m. abt 1840 (I also have a marriage to a Mary M. Brown who I know nothing about), Joseph b. 1814, PA, d. 1913, Sull Co., son of:

Peter Wormuth and Harriet Barecolt (appears on Joseph's death certificate but the surname doesn't exist), Peter b. abt 1788 NYS, d. 1862, Sull Co., NY. Peter was also married to a Grace butg Harriet is listed on Joseph's death certificate.

I believe that Joseph and Peter may not, in fact, have been born in the US but immigrated. Census searches show problems with dates and places, etc. that I haven't resolved yet.

Any information appreciated. Please include as much detail as possible in posts and emails: Who, What, Where, When, birth, marriage, death dates and places.

Thank you.
