Powhatan Va Order Book 1778 - Betty Worley

I was at the Powhatan courthouse yesterday and came across a lawsuit between Betty Worley, plaintiff and Phobe (sic) Lansdone, defendant dated 17 Sep 1778 in Powhatan County Virginia Order Book. Verdict was for the plaintiff, couldn't figure out what the suit was about!
My question is, does anybody out there have any idea who Betty would belong to? I know that William, son of John, was still in Powhatan in 1778 and had a daughter named Elizabeth. She is a contender to be this person but she would only have been about 13 in 1778, not likely that she was bringing a lawsuit.
I think that John Jr. was still around as a John Worley and William signed as oath of fidelity in 1777. Could Betty belong to him? Wife? Daughter? Daughter-in-law? I have done most of my research into Wm's line and am not too knowledgable on John Jr's line. Any help greatly appreciated
