I am just beginning my research into the Worland/Rolfe family.
My mum Betty June Worland born 1932 died 15/12/99, left me some details before she passed away .
Her parents were Harriet Ethel Rolfe born 1893 died 26/1/1952 and is buried at Moruya and Walter Frances Worland born abt 1885 died 1941 reg'd at Warren. Walter parents were David Worland born 1853, died 1931 burie at Moruya. and 2nd wife Emily Smith. David was the son of Joseph and "wife unknown" but possible Caroline Kaufline.
I also have a newspaper clipping titled "Left Nelligen in 1903" It is a story about 7 Worland brothers of which 6 fought in WW1. the photo was supplied by the Clyde River and Batemans Bay Historical society.
My grandmother Harriet Ethel Rolf was the daughter of James Rolfe and Annie Eliabeth Wakeling and I am trying to research them too.
Any help would be appreciated.
