James WORKS - A new clue?
Posted by: Jessy M. Reid Date: April 21, 2001 at 02:41:01

I found the message below on another genealogy forum, and thought maybe it would give us another clue for James WORKS (if you didn't already have this one).....

"When James WORKS enlisted in the Revolutionary War he was cited as being of York County, Pennsylvania. The family moved from Pennsylvania to South Carolina to Baldwin County, Georgia where James died 1812. Sometime before 1790 James WORKS married Penelope TOOL. They had John, Ely, Jesse, and David WORKS. Who were the ancestors of James & Penelope?
Dianne Conaway Blankenstein
