I've seen the names for Emberland and Givver and sort of wondered about them but wasn't sure. I have not been to Parker Co. to look at their records - I'm working pretty much off the internet.

On the story about John Emberlin: In correspondence my mother had with two of Drucie's granddaughters there are two versions of the cause of the fight with Bell (1) he was mistreating a horse and she tried to stop him, and (2) he was trying to kill baby Mary and Bell fought him. However, in both versions, Bell got cut and John got shot by W. H. As I said, I haven't researched him so didn't even know he was in the Civil War. Interesting.

The first husband, Isaac Hartsell, is another strange story. Supposedly, Drucie didn't stay married to him long. She married him in June 1868. Her first child with Johnson Gilbert was born in June 1869 and the three of them are on the 1870 census in Parker Co. Mother had a note that she found where he had re-married in 1869 - no other details and no copy of that record.
