Thanks, Nita. Most of this I already have. May I ask where you found Jerusha's marriage date to John Emberlin? I've looked through all of Parker Co., and as much of Palo Pinto Co. and Collin Co. that I can find but don't see that. The closest I came was to a statement given by Green Gilbert (Jerusha and Johnson's son) saying they married in 1886 and John Emberlin died in 1896. You may be interested to know that Jerusha married (1)Isaac Hartsell in Collin Co. in 1868, (2)Johnson Gilbert (again, date unknown), (3) John Emberlin, then No. 4 was Cale Corman whom she married 5 May 1909 and supposedly divorced in 1917. For the 1920 census she took the Emberlin name again. I've found all of Jerusha's children and even remember several of them from childhood as I grew up in the same area. As I think I mentioned earlier, my connection is through Johnson Gilbert and their daughter Mary Melissa. I still have a lot of my mother's research notes and perhaps can help on the Emberlin side if you have specific questions. (Sorry for the long dissertation!)
