Jerusha is my g-g-grandmother on my mother's side, through Jerusha's husband Johnson Gilbert (2nd husband). I have just begun picking up research on her that my mother started so have not found a lot of documentation yet. However, my mother did find in the Centrolplex Library in Baton Rouge, LA, a microfilm with the following: Marriage Record Collin Co. Texas - June 25 1868, Isaac Hartsell (possibly Hartsoll?) and Jerusa Warden. Most of my information at this time is through family stories. So far I have not even found marriage records for Johnson Gilbert and John Emberlin. I would appreciate any information you would care to share. And will do the same when I have something more concrete.
