Thank you so much for posting the picture of Benjamin and Martha's monument. They were my 3rd greatgrandparents. I know that a number of their children went to the Rockford area in the 1840s: Seneca, Horace, possibly John, and my 2nd greatgrandparents, Diantha Worcester and her husband Levi Pangborn. In 1854 Levi Pangborn was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he purchased land in nearby Benton County. Horace Worcester witnessed that deed and was known to have lived in Cedar Rapids for a while. Levi and Diantha (1811-1900) lived out their lives on a farm in Parker's Grove near Shellsburg, and are buried in the Parker's Grove Cemetery.

I have Rockford on my "to see" list for next spring and would also like to have directions to the cemetery. It was my understanding from the Alice Worcester book that Martha was buried in Harlem, IL, so I might have been spinning my wheels for a while looking for the gravesite.
