Hi Edwin,
I have John Jehu Wooten as married to Francis Vestal 2 June 1825 in Lunenburg, Va. I found this recorded on Family Tree Maker marriage archieves CD.
Family lineage for Francis Vestal is James (Jr)., James (Sr)., William II, William, Major William, William, John.
John did marry again. This was to Jane Harris, a sister to Charity Ann Harris. Their father was John Evans Harris and mother was Mary Catherine (Miller) Harris.
Emma Hudson was my husbands grandmother. She was a sister to your grandfather, James Lewis Wooten.
I wonder if you could give my the marriage date and place for James and Lida (Kendrick) Wooten.
