No problem! One of the rewards of my "hard work" is having something worth sharing.
My late husband, Thomas Clark Wooters, was s/o Paul Revere Wooters, s/o Alfred Elmer Wooters, s/o NoahWashington, Wooters, Jr., s/o Noah Washington Wooters, Sr., s/o John Wooters (our common ancestor). Noah, Sr. migrated to Illinois with his brother Levin, sometime between 1830-1838 and Tom was born in Centralia, Raccoon Twp., Marion Co., Illinois. Both Noah and Levin's line all seemed to have stayed around that area.
To add another generation for you:
We left off with George Secros Wooters.
His father was Levin Wooters (mentioned above).
Levin Wooters [b. abt. 1787 in Caroline County, Maryland - d. 22 October 1855 in Raccoon Twp, Marion Co., Illinois] m. Sarah Richardson.
Children of Levin and Sarah:
1. Nancy Wooters [b. abt 1810 in Robertson Co., Tennessee] m. Gillum Duncan [have their ch.'s names];
2. John Robert Wooters [b. Abt. 13 March 1811 in Robertson Co., Tennessee - d. 25 February 1862 in Raccoon Twp, Marion Co., Illinois] m. Emily F Farthing [have their ch.'s names];
3. Elizabeth Wooters [b. 28 September 1813 in Robertson Co., Tennessee - 15 April 1859 in Raccoon Twp, Marion Co., Illinois] m. Hamilton Dudley Farthing [have their ch.'s names and a few generations of Farthing ancestor's names - I wonder if John Robert's wife, Emily F is tied into these Farthings?];
4. Esther Wooters [b. 13 January 1814 in Robertson Co., Tennessee - d. 21 August 1844 in Raccoon Twp, Marion Co., Illinois] m. Samuel Tate [have their 1 son's name];
5. William Wooters [b. Abt. 1816 in Robertson Co., Tennessee - d. Bef. 1855 in Raccoon Twp, Marion Co., Illinois] m. Deborah Brawley [no info on ch.];
6. *Josiah Fyke Wooters [b. 06 January 1819 in Robertson Co.,Tennessee - d. 1900 in Marion Co., Illinois] m. Mary Fowler [have their ch.'s names];
7. Andrew J Wooters [b. abt. 1823 in Robertson Co., Tennessee] m. Nancy C Fyke [have their ch.'s names];
8. George Secros Wooters [b. abt. 1824 in Tennessee - d. 28 November 1875 in Cold Spring Twp, Shelby Co., Illinois] m. Mahala Whittington [have their ch.'s names];
9. Nathan L Wooters [b. abt. 1826 in Tennessee - 28 March 1881 in Central City, Marion Co., Illinois] m. Sarah C Ray [no info on ch.];
10. Sarah Ann Wooters [b. abt. 1828 in Raccoon Twp, Marion Co., Illinois - Thomas Montgomery Richardson [have their ch.'s names].
[Note: the first 9 children were b. in Tennessee bet. abt. 1810 - abt. 1826, so you might be able to find them on census in Robertson Co., TN during that time.]
