Hello Blair,
I'm not descended from Dennis, but i think my ancestor had a connection to him. Please let me know if you have any knowledge or speculation about this.
My ancestor was Bryant Wade. His name appeared in a transcription of the family bible of Dennis' father Jonathan Woolverton:

In the latest book on the Woolvertons (THE WOOLVERTON FAMILY, 1693-1850 AND BEYOND by David A. Macdonald and Nancy N. McAdams, 2001), po, 51-52. It mentionw Bryant Wade (b. Nov. 6, 1790)
and
Elizabeth Tripp (b. June 6, 1795) and bound to the family on 26 Dec. 1807. That appears to be the only reference to Bryant Wade.

This is on a page which otherwise gives birthdates of family members. Note that Bryant Wade is born in the same year as Dennis Woolverton. The family tradition is that Bryant Wade was born in New Jersey, as were the Woolvertons, and was orphaned early.
