Hello Marshall
I and my cousins over here (Norwich Norfolk, and Beccles, Suffolk, have been researching our Woolner family tree and via Robert Woolner in Canada I discovered that you were researching the same thing on Prince Edward Island. I am interested in this because when I went to Dunwich recently I found a letter in the museum from Lucy Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, in which she said she was on her honeymoon in Dunwich and searching for her Woolner roots. I have been trying to see if they connect with our Woolner family tree, but so far without success. I have a James Woolner on my tree but he was born in 1786 in Beccles, Suffolk, which is the wrong date for your James. However, there may be another connection. I am in contact with Robert Woolner in Canada, whose gt gt gt gt grandparents where also mine, so we have a connection there.

Best wishes.

Margaret Pritchard
