I have received a marriage cert for the marriage of Thomas Woolnough and Betsy Balls. I was hoping this was a ancestor of mine, but now have doubts. Hoping someone may be researching this union and can help.
married 30-7-1840, church of england parish of Blyford(later Blything), County of Suffolk. Thomas was a Baker, which doesn't tally with my Thomas ancestor. Betsy's father was William. Her residence may be Nales or Wales.
I have looked for them in 1871 census but no matches.
