Hi,
its a vague link but my Grandad was called john and was born around that time. Do you have any other infomation about him? You mentioned Walton, but which Walton? Theres Walton on the Naze here in essex, could it be that one? Also do you know if he married a woman called Doris Burch, because that was my Grandmothers name!
