Trying to find descendants of my grandfather's brother, Henry Woolnough. I have a photo of him taken in Chicago in 1916, and I think he married Nellie Gertrude Hobson (from Nantwich, Cheshire). She died in 1925 in Chicago - but have no idea what happened to Henry. Did he return to England? Does anyone know this family? His brother, my grandfather, was George Woolnough, and I know there was also a sister called Alice Patty.
Their parents were William Woolnough and Alice Mary (nee Taylor)- and I can go back many generations - it is the more recent generations that are causing me problems! Hope someone can help.
