I would love to find the descendants of William (Willie)Woolnough who was born in Gainsborough, Lincs, England in 1895 and whose family lived in Rotherham, Sheffield and Manchester.
He served in France in WW1 and married a French girl and stayed in France. He had 2 children, Lilian and Albert.
If anyone recognises this story or who can help me trace the family I would love to hear from them. (I can speak french)He may have used the name Smith at one time.
