Woolley of Monmouth Cty, NJ
My mother was a Woolley and has information on her family line dating back to Benjamin Woolley, my gggrandfather. He was born 1821, died 1878 and married Caroline Riddle (1833-1923).They had MANY children from 1851-1874...Susan, Emma, Josephine, Joel, Almenon?, James, Mary, Thomas, David (from whom we're descended), Bertha and Nicholas.James, Thomas and Nicholas all died as children, so no further line on them.
David married Elizabeth Havens and they had 3 children, my grandfather Raymond (born 1893) and Frank and Jenny.Raymond married Marcella Reed and they had my mother Marjorie, who is an only child.
I've seen a number of postings on the last name Hennessey, too, and can tell you that Marcella's sister Clara married a Daniel Hennessey.
We have no record prior to Benjamin in 1821, but I'll be reviewing all of the prior postings to see if it opens up the trail any for us.Would be interested in hearing from anyone who can tie into the tree.Happy hunting!
