I believe Thomas Woolley may have been the grandfather of Edwin Dilworth Woolley, my great-great-great-great-grandfather.Edwin was born in PA or OH, joined the LDS church around 1848 and eventually moved to Utah.He had six wives and 26 children. His father's name was John Woolley and his mother's name was Rachel Dilworth. There is a book about Edwin, called "From Quaker to Latter-Day Saint", published in the mid 1970s by Deseret Books (I think-I know it was an LDS publishing company). It has some background information and information on his life and descendants.
What I know of Thomas Woolley is that he came to America around the turn of the 18th century, was a former pugilist, moved to PA and married a Quaker named Sarah.I'm not sure if this is the same man you are looking for.
