Rick,
There are certainly a lot of follow-ups to your post.If you are not totally exhausted from helping so many others I wonder if you could see if you have some info on my line and a problem I have:
My ancestor Deborah Woolley, married to Jessie Cook is shown to be the daughter of a Benjamin Woolley who died in 1798 in his will. The will mentions a wife Hannah who is obviously (from the language) not the mother of Deborah. But who is the mother of Deborah?Several sources say she is Katharine Husbands and there is a marriage record for a Benjamin Woolley and a Katharine Husbands in 1750.The problem is that there is also a Friends burial record for a Benjamin Woolley who died in 1798 and his wife is listed as Catherine Cook. Are Catherine Cook and Katharine Husbands one and the same person?
If the Benjamin in the Friends burial record is the right one, he is descended from Emanuel through John and John, Jr.
Do you know how to figure this out?
Thanks for your time.
