Hi Carol,
My GGGGrandfather was Hubbard Woolley, son of James W. Woolley.Hubbard's daughter Martha Ellen Woolley is my Grandmother's namesake. My grandmother, Martha Ellen Fickle Robison, is still living (age 92)and has given me lots of oral history on the family.I also have several family pictures. The oldest one was done in 1900 so it only has Hubbard and some of his siblings and immediate family.I would be more than happy to share whatever I have with you or any other Woolley descendent. My e-mail address is [email protected] so send me an e-mail and we can compare notes.James W. Woolley is proving to be a very elusive fellow and perhaps if all the cousins can get together we can find his father.I have some information that indicates his father was Anthony Woolley, son of James and Catharine Woolley (first cousins) both being grandchildren of John Woolley, son of Emanuel Woolley from Rhode Island and England. But I have no documentation to prove this.I'm anxiously waiting to hear from you.
