Sorry I don't yet have any further details on Isaac Thorn (birth date, etc.)I suppose it would even have been possible for two marriages to have taken place.(That would be an interesting twist, to have a mother & daughter inter-marrying with a father & son.)
The text in Stillwell's book simply reads: "#204 Huldah Woolley born May 10, 1791; died Feb. 17, 1869; married, Sep. 9, 1818, Isaac Thorn."
Since Dr Stillwell had assigned numbers to each individual, there's no mistaking that he'd always intended to say that Huldah Woolley, the daughter of Huldah (Skirm) Woolley, was the one who married Isaac Thorn. And that this was not a second marriage for the widow Huldah (Skirm) Woolley.
Although, if this marriage involved an Isaac Thorn, Sr., given his age, then I suppose it would have to be the widow Huldah (Skirm) Woolley who had a 2nd marriage.More evidence is needed; for instance, if children were produced/found as a product of the marriage, then it'd surely be the marriage record for the daughter Huldah - as the mother was 62-yrs old at the time of the marriage.)
Interesting.
