Sorry this has taken so long to get on paper
My family of Woollen as follows
Henry Woollen bapt 16 Feb 1790 Lyng d Q1 1860
had 8 children the youngest being
Alfred bapt 25 Nov 1827 Lyng - D Q4 1892 Bridgewater
Now Alfred had about 11 children with wife Sarah.....
James b Spaxton 1854 - John b Lyng 1857-Henry bLyng 1864-Joseph b Lyng 1868-Robert B Lyng 1871 Sarah Jane b Lyng 1873- Alfred Edward b lyng 1876-Florence b Lyng 1888(Q mark here)
Have been sent a list of Robert Woollen and Sophia Curran's
children and was most interested to find the family name popping up Robert,Florence,Henry, Alfred Edward,
Cousins of mine have told me 3 Woollen boys left home x 2 went to Australia and our g/father Joseph jumped ship in N Z working on the railways until here married g/mother 1907 then went off to Queensland 1908 - returning around 1923
I have found members of the Woollen family still in England in fact Alfred b 1827s brother Robert B1820 which I could pass on perhaps not on this site though
Would be interested to hear your views. Allison Lee N.Z
