The following info is from a book I bought from Candy Daggett YOUNG in 1983 (the year she published it). Page 170 has the following for Richard WOOLFOLK:
Richard WOOLFOLK, b. Caroline CO, VA m Mary COLEMAN, of Caroline CO, VA. Richard established Holly Hill, near Bowling Green. (VA Tax Payers 1782-1787). Richard died just before the Revolutionary War, early 1770. Their ch were: 1) Elizabeth WOOLFOLK, b. Caroline CO, VA 1745, d. 1799, m. Peyton STERNE. 2) Clara WOOLFOLK, b. Caroline CO, VA, d. 1769. 3) Lucy WOOLFOLK, b. Caroline CO, VA. 4) Charles WOOLFOLK, b. Caroline CO, VA. 5) Spilsby WOOLFOLK, b. 1765, Caroline CO, VA., d. 1841, m. Sally NODEN, b. 1763. d. Sept. 26, 1824. Buried in Paige, VA. Ref: Family Records, Winston WOOLFOLK, President of Caroline CO Historical Society. Wingfield's History of Caroline CO, VA.
I have not researched this particular line as I descend from Richard's bro Robert. However, for what it is worth, I have a note in my files sent by another researcher some yrs back that states Spilby and Charles both married a NODEN.
