I think that the person that asked the question missed a generation.

According to the book by Robert Riley, "History of the Woolfolk Family" Vol. II (McDowell Publications, KY 2005), pp. T-47 - T-51, Richard Norton Woolfolk was born ca. 1812 in Jefferson Co. (now Oldham), KY and died in Pike Co., IL on March 4, 1879. He married three times. His third wife was Rebecca Catherine Settles who was born ca. 1826 in IN and died after 1860 in Pike Co., IL.

Richard and Rebecca were married in Ralls Co., MO on July 30, 1848. They had nine children. Their eighth child was George Lee Woolfolk, born in IL on Dec. 24, 1862 and died in Orofino, ID on March 15, 1936. He married in Scotland Co., MO on Nov. 18, 1884 Nannie Elizabeth (Senor) Smith.

George Lee Woolfolk (the missing generation) and Nannie Smith had six children. Their third child was George W. Woolfolk, born in Joplin, MO on Jan. 30, 1889 and died in 1974. George W. Woolfolk married twice. His first wife was Ilda Marie Bessent. They married in TN. Their daughter Nina Woolfolk was born ca. 1914 and married Dr. Miller ca. 1934.
