I read a detailed book on the Battle of Gettyburg. It discussed a heated argument between Capt. Pichegru Woolfolk, Jr. and another Confederate artillery commander. The other commander was given the prime position for the day's attack and that infuriated Capt. Woolfolk. He challenged the other commander to a duel which did not take place. According to the book the two never talked again.
