Circa 1910 photo of Fern F. Wooley (married name Crell) (1889-1972)
I purchased an undated RPPC (Real Photo Postcard) (not postally used) each depicting a group of 10 young women. It is labeled on the back:
"1-Lulu Besley-Marium Downie-Eulah Wooll.
2-Fern Wooley-Dell Briggs-Lelah Wooll-Grace Albaugh.
3-Neva Briggs-Emma Rnessi-Vera Curtis."
I found this individual listed in the 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930 Census data for Duplain Township, Elsie Village (resided on Main Street). She is listed in public member trees posted on ancestry.com.She is also listed in the "Social Security Death Index."
Fern F. Wooley, born 12 Sep 1889 in Clinton Co., MI, died Jul 1972 in Paw Paw, Van Buren Co., MI, was the daughter of a hardware dealer, John Boyce Wooley, born May 1845 in NY, and Abigail Aurelia Finch, born Oct 1848 in Delaware Co., OH.In about 1918, Fern married a hardware dealer, Harrison "Harry" Bond Crell, born 11 Dec 188 in MI, died Jan 1978 in Pueblo, CO.The couple had one child, Eloise A. Crell, born about 1920 in MI.
