About 1925 Steve and Sadie Tucker of Pope County, AR were in desparate straights because Sadie was dying of TB and they had a large family of children. Some were sent to relatives to be cared for, but little Kenneth Thomas "Buddy" Tucker was adopted by Paul and Jenny Woolery. He was never seen again by the Tuckers. Steve tried to find Kenneth on several occasions after Sadie died, but was unsuccessful.
The Tucker descendants would like to find Kenneth if he is still living (he would be about 79 years of age). If any of his descendants know about this adoption, the family would appreciate it if someone would make contact so we can learn what happened to Kenneth and so we can make acquaintance with his descendants. If anyone knows about this adopted son of Paul and Jenny Woolery, please respond. Thanks.
