I am sure that this Levin Woollen is related to my patriot William Woollen (1750) of Dorchester Co, MD. William signed the Oath of Fidelity along with at least two of his brothers, one was named Levin. These brothers then enlisted in 1779 from Taylors Island, MD. I know that my patriot traveled to North Carolina after his wife died. He made that trip after 1823 from Howard Co., IN. I know that he was considering relocating and went to visit a relative there. Several years ago the Woollen family in North Carolina donated all the papers to Duke University. I would say that our relatives were probably brothers. I hope this helps. Let me know what you turn up.
