I am looking for information on the Susan "Ann" Sanders, b. abt. 1837, m. 1) John Andrew Wooldridge 2) Francis M. Thompson.

She is the daughter of Eli Sanders and Nancy Campbell. They are found in Madison Co., AL, Itawamba Co., Ms and later Lee Co., MS.

I am looking for a connection to my James M. Sanders, b. 1827, AL d. 1900, buried Rehobeth Cem. in Fannin Co., TX. He was in the 1860 Tishomingo Co., census and his descendants are later found in Hardeman Co., TX.

Rosetta Thompson, Susan Ann Sanders, daughter d. 31 Oct 1964, Hardeman Co., TX.

Thompsons have ties to my Maples family through the 1st marriage of Francis M. Thompson to Caroline Edy Maples. Her father, John Henry, is the brother of my direct descendant Moses Maples.

Eli Wooldridge, son of Susan Ann Sanders, is connected to the other side of my family through his marriage to Francis (Fannie) Loveless. Her father, is the brother of my gg=grandmother, Francis Jane Loveless Hanks.
Therefore, Fannie is her niece.

I am finding all of these connections to my family and know there is a direct connection somewhere to James M. Sanders.

I would appreciate any information you could give me to help further research this Sanders/Wooldridge/Thompson connection to James M. Sanders.

Lola Sanders Ball
